Life is an Adventure...
Life is Full of Love....
Life can Be Sorrowful...
And then sometimes when you least expect it your Life changes.
I met Amy and her family a few years ago. Amy and I work together at Vanderbilt, she rocks it in the back of a helicopter, saving lives..and really who wouldn't want that beauty helping them in their time of need. She is kind and sweet and always smiling. I love that..a breathe of fresh air at work.
Imagine being young, with three small kids and married to a man who suddenly passes away.
One day at church you meet a man...a good man...a man that will fall in love with you.
A man that will love your children like his own.
Amy and Steve are like no other couple I have ever known. They are like two little college kids...they smile at each other from across the room...hold hands...they are in love even after all of these years of being together.
They have raised three beautiful children together. They are good people that I am so proud to call my friends.
So do I believe that God places certain people in our lives for a reason...Um yes..no doubt about it...yes I do. Do I believe that you can still be giggly and in love after years of marriage... Yeppers...do I believe that you can love a child, any child absolutely!
I will leave you with a quote...a quote that I have seen many times on Amy's facebook page from Steve...and every time I see it I smile. I am so glad that a sweet girl from Texas met a Southern Gentleman from Tennessee.
